We build transparent, responsible, and regenerative supply chains that benefit people, planet, and partners — across every commodity we touch.
Our Commitment
At Alpha Agro, sustainability is embedded into our sourcing model — not added as an afterthought. We work with cooperatives and smallholder farmers who practice responsible agriculture, and we provide the market access and fair pricing that makes sustainable farming economically viable. We are committed to EUDR compliance, deforestation-free sourcing verification, and full supply chain traceability for every commodity we export.
Our approach to sustainability is grounded in over a decade of hands-on experience designing and delivering responsible agricultural programmes across Africa — including leading the development and implementation of a donor-funded carbon and climate-smart agriculture project in the Ugandan coffee sector. This practitioner background means our sustainability commitments are not borrowed from a framework. They are built from the field up.

Our Pillars
All cocoa and applicable commodity lots are sourced with deforestation-free verification, meeting EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requirements for European buyers.
We source directly from cooperatives and smallholder farmer groups, ensuring fair pricing, consistent offtake, and access to international markets that would otherwise be out of reach.
We partner with farmer organisations that combine trees and crops in harmonious systems, enhancing biodiversity, improving soil health, and building more resilient agricultural landscapes.
We prioritise sourcing from cooperatives that actively include women and youth — supporting community development, income equality, and long-term agricultural resilience.
Traceability
Every lot we supply comes with full origin documentation — from cooperative or farm group level through to export. We coordinate SGS and Cotecna third-party inspections and provide complete quality and compliance certificates. For EU buyers, this means you can meet your EUDR obligations with confidence.
